ENERGY. EXPERTISE. SOLUTIONS. My name is Kristy Venne and I served k-12 public education for over twenty years as a classroom teacher, school principal, and district administrator for two premier districts in central Ohio. You are invited to check out my portfolio if you would like to learn more about my past work. These experiences shaped my belief that every person deserves quality opportunities and support to reach their highest potential.
The Classroom-to-Career approach includes developing partnerships and programming to maximize outcomes for all involved. It begins with a human-centered, collaborative, design-thinking process to holistically tackle challenges and turn them into opportunities. Our team works with key stakeholders to create custom plans, programs, professional development, pathways and more based on an organization's unique needs, resources, and goals.
Everyone deserves to find their purpose, or "reason for being". This is the overlap between their strengths, what they love to do, what the world needs, and what they can be paid for. The graphic on the right is an adaptation for the Japanese "ikigai" to illustrate this concept.
Creating meaningful learning experiences and pathways to good careers that pay sustainable wages, with opportunity for growth and advancement, and for in-demand roles is a win-win for all involved.
We create solutions that start with K-12 schools and connect with post-graduate education options, businesses, non-profits, government, and industry organizations in order to help people find their purpose with a promising future while filling important workforce needs.
The inspiration to start my own company comes from my grandparents.
My grandparents, Franz and Johanna, were immigrants from Austria who came to America (Cleveland, Ohio, more specifically) with their children and only the clothes on their backs to start a better life. They were generous, caring, hardworking people who started their own business that is still run to this day by my relatives. They created a life that they loved and took care of everyone around them, took nothing for granted, and set an example of what could be with effort, gratitude and intentionality.
The Jade plant in this photo sits in my office and is from my grandparents' house. I propagate new Jade plants from their original plant to share with others to keep their memory alive. I strive to pay forward the positive impact they had on me with my friends, family, and clients.
